The Battle Cry

Newly listed to Metal Corset is this Joan of Arc assemblage purse necklace named, "The Battle Cry," for the chain mail represented in both the Art Deco chatelaine purse and the French Victorian Joan of Arc brooch.

The beautiful Art Deco chatelaine chain mail purse is silver tone metal over brass. It is large enough to hold a driver's license and a few dollars for a night out on the town. The gorgeous French Victorian brooch features Joan in chain mail and battle armor. She is surrounded by fleurs de lys, the national emblem of France and a Lorraine cross.

I've left the brooch intact so it is removable from the purse to wear alone if so desired. The chain necklace is a mixture of an antique Art Deco silver watch chain and a beaded faux pearl necklace. The closure sits at the left with a 2" drop chain suspending an antique Joan of Arc medal.

This is a stunning piece when worn, as the medal sits just above the collar bone.
