I've taken two of my sterling silver wax seal charms and created this
pair of assemblage chandelier earrings. Each sterling silver charm is
hand impressed using a Victorian wax seal fob intaglio.
One charm
depicts a dagger piercing a heart with the French motto, "Dis Moi Oui,"
translated to, "I Say Yes," the other a hand reaching out from a heart
towards another heart with the motto, "The Hand That Can Feel For
Another."
Pot metal paste rhinestone connectors and dangles
from an antique Art Deco necklace and fresh water pearls are wire
wrapped together with sterling silver wire. Two pewter flaming sacred
heart charms have also been added to make this stunning pair of
assemblage earrings. All suspended delicately from hand forged sterling
silver French earring wires.
I had a lot of fun creating these earrings and you can find them newly listed to Metal Corset. Thanks for stopping by!

VICTORIAN REBUS PUZZLE INTAGLIO WAX SEAL FOB "I LOVE YOU"
Keep a weather eye on Metal Corset II for jewelry reproduced in sterling silver depicting this spectacular Victorian rebus puzzle wax seal fob.
A rebus is an illusional device that uses pictures to represent words or parts of words.
This rebus intaglio depicts an eye (I), winged cherub/cupid holding a bow (love) and a yew tree (you) = I love you.
What a great "expression of love" to give that special someone dear to heart.

1759 GEORGIAN MEMENTO MORI WAX SEAL FOB
Memento mori is a Latin phrase translated to, "Remember you will die." You know, kind of an ecclesiastical way of keeping humanity in check. :-)
This Georgian wax seal fob depicts a crowned skull and crossbones under the motto, "MEMENTO MORI," flanked by a sovereign's orb and fleur de lis sceptor.
Last photo shows the impression in sterling silver.

ANTIQUE VICTORIAN REBUS WAX SEAL FOB INTAGLIO "I HOPE YOU ARE WELL"
I absolutely love these symbolic wax seal fob intaglios. This one is called a rebus which is defined as a puzzle in which words are represented by combinations of pictures and individual letters.
The intaglio depicts an eye (I), maiden leaning on an anchor (hope), yew tree (you), the letter R (are), and a well (well). I HOPE YOU ARE WELL.
Keep a weather eye on Metal Corset II for fine silver pendants created with this amazing rebus wax seal fob intaglio!
