THINGS THAT HAVE SOLD ON ETSY TO DATE

I have to admit that I'm very pleased with the outcome of items sold on Metal Corset, my shop at Etsy.com.

Metal Corset II is doing very well too and has surpassed Metal Corset in supplies sold as opposed to OOAK assemblage/mixed media/altered art.

Things that have sold through Metal Corset to date are as follows:

ORNIE-MENTS

After making several vintage reproduction doll heads I offered them in my Etsy Shop, but, they weren't such a big hit, soooo, I used them to make some assemblage dolls and named them, "Ornie-ments." I almost named them, "Poquito de Todos," which means a little of everything, considering they just about used up all my supplies. Each Ornie has a different look and were a lot of fun to make. I want to send them to Art Doll Quarterly and see if they make "Show and Tell." But I think I'll put them in my shop instead. I finally decided to use wire to hang them like ornaments.

STEAMPUNK NECKLACE

(SOLD)

I listed another item in my Etsy shop today. It's called, "Steampunk Necklace." I used a haunting image of a young dapper Victorian man set in resin in a vintage watch movement. I also soldered a vintage binding doll arm with an O-ring to dangle below. The piece hangs on a 23" aged ball chain.

MYSTERIOUS

I listed another dragonfly series assemblage necklace to my Etsy shop. The resin head is cast from a mold of an authentic vintage German doll head. I'm finding these reproduction doll heads to be quite versatile in the creating process.
